12.2.16. Removal and installation of forward wings

- Open a cowl and transfer it to vertical situation (see. Section Removal and cowl installation).
- Remove a forward lattice (see. Section Removal and installation of a forward lattice).
- Remove block headlight assembly (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).
- Remove a loker of protection of a wheel arch (1).
- Remove a vacuum receiver of a drive of blocking of differentials (the left wing).
- On models 463.323 remove the tank of liquid of washing of glasses (the left wing).
- Turn out bolts (3) and remove a lattice of an air inlet (2) (on models 463.323 only on the right wing).
- Remove a drainage hose (4).
- Turn out bolts (8) and remove air inlets (5 and 6) (on models 463.3223 only on the right wing).
- Turn out screws (10) and remove from a wing an air inlet (9) (on models 463.3223 only on the right wing).
- Release a bolt (11) fastenings of an air line to a wheel arch (on models 463.3223 only on the right wing).
- Remove the turn index (see. Head Onboard electric equipment), - on models 463.246 (AMG) in addition disunite the electroconducting socket (E6/3 or E6/4) the corresponding marker light.
- On models of the corresponding complete set (EF4 and ET4 codes) remove the aerial of navigation system GPS (A2/23), - only on the left wing.
- Remove protection of a case.
- At the corresponding complete set remove a boot of an impellent compartment (see. Section Removal and installation of a boot of an impellent compartment of a complete set of AMG).
- Turn out bolts (14) and uncover (13).
- Remove the top cross-section beam of a front (15).
- Remove a broad tank of system of cooling (see. The head of System of cooling, heating, ventilation and air conditioning), - only the right wing.
- Remove the rezonatorny chamber with a catchment basin (see. Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases), - only the right wing.
- On models 463.250 remove an antenna divider (only right wing) and, without disconnecting an antenna cable, take him aside.
- Remove the tank of liquid of washing of glasses (except models 463.323), - only the right wing.
- On models 463.246 (AMG) liberate, but do not disconnect the line of the hydroproof-reader of headlights.
- Release eight top (16) and four lobbies (17) bolts of fastening of a wing.
- Turn out bolts (18) fastenings of an overlay of an arch.
- Give nuts (12) fastenings of a wing to a partition of an impellent compartment.
- Having submitted forward, remove a wing, - use the help of the assistant.
- Installation is made upside-down.
