12.2.10. Removal and installation of bumpersFront bumper
Details of installation of a front bumper

|
- On models of the corresponding complete set (463.246) remove the bottom boot of an impellent compartment (see. Section Removal and installation of a boot of an impellent compartment of a complete set of AMG).
- By means of the assistant remove protection of a case.
- Remove a fog light (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).
- Remove from a bumper (2) cooler of ATF (4) (except the AMG models).
- On models 463.246 (AMG) remove from a bumper (2) cooler of impellent oil and, without disconnecting the line, shift it aside.
- Turn out bolts (1).
- Disunite the socket (В14x1) of electroconducting of the sensor of temperature of external air.
- By means of the assistant remove a bumper (2).
- Installation is made upside-down.

- On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) activate a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).
- Take on 3 push-button clamps from each party and uncover (And) with a vetrootboynik (except models 463.246).
- On the left side remove assembly brackets (In) a vetrootboynik (except models 463.246).
- On models of the corresponding complete set (V53 code) remove a ware compartment with a cover in a luggage compartment (see. Section Removal, installation and adjustment of doors).
- On models of the corresponding complete set (EP5 code) uncover (1) CD changer.
- Turn out a fixing eye (2).
- Slightly raise edge of the lateral finishing panel and remove from a cover (4) carpet panel (3) coverings of a floor.
- Turn out two fixing screws and uncover (4).
- On models of the corresponding complete set (EP5 code) remove a CD changer.
- Disunite the socket (5) going from a rear bumper in salon of the car of a plait of electroconducting.
- On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) disunite the carving socket (6) of the replacing aerial of system of an emergency call of TELE AID.
- Liberate electroconducting from the body panel, having extended it outside through plugs (7) through passage.

The damaged plugs (7) are subject to replacement without fail. |
- Remove a bryzgootboynik (8).
- Turn out screws (10), disconnect from racks (11) and remove angular slips (9) bumpers.
- On the right disunite the socket (12) of fire of a backing (Е7).
- At the left disconnect electroconducting from a back foggy lamp (E3/1).
- Remove lamps of illumination of registration plate (E19/1 and E19/2).
- Turn out screws (13) (on four from each party) and by means of the assistant remove a bumper.
- Installation is made upside-down.

- In summary make reading of the DTC codes and cleaning of memory of system of onboard self-diagnostics by means of the STAR DIAGNOSIS scanner (6511 1801 00) (see. Head of System of electric equipment of the engine).
