9.3.2. Check and adjustment oil level / replacement in assemblies of bridges

Check and replacement should be made at a heated-up reducer of the bridge.

Peredny Bridge

Location of jams jellied/control (1) and drain (2) openings of a case of the forward bridge

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Carefully wipe a surface of a case of the bridge round a stopper of a jellied/control (1) opening.
  2. Turn out a stopper, - oil level in a case should reach the bottom cut of an opening, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (use a funnel). Track, that the stopper was tightened with demanded effort.

Replacement

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Prepare drain capacity of suitable volume.
  2. Having wiped a case surface, round both openings, turn out jellied (1) and drain (2) jams.
  3. Wait the terminations of an effluence of oil, then screw on the place and tighten with demanded effort a drain stopper (2), - in case of need previously replace a sealing washer.
  4. Through a funnel fill in in a reducer case necessary amount of fresh oil of a demanded grade, - level of oil should reach the bottom cut of a jellied/control opening.
  5. Screw and tighten with demanded effort a stopper (1).

Zadny Bridge

Location of jams jellied/control (1) and drain (2) openings of a case of the back bridge

The order of performance of procedures is similar described above for the forward bridge.

For the purpose of ensuring normal access to a stopper of a jellied/control opening the car should be lowered on wheels.
