5.2.5. Removal and installation of the heat exchanger of a heater
Details of installation of the heat exchanger of a heater

- Previously having dumped pressure in a path, empty cooling system (see. Head Current leaving and service).
- On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) activate a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).
- Disconnect a negative wire from the battery, - need for connection of the auxiliary accumulator is absent.
- Remove the dashboard (see. Head Body).
- Remove a gas pedal.
- Remove a floor carpet in the left back foot well (see. Head Body).
- Uncover on the left side of the forward central tunnel.
- Remove a sleeve of supply of air in the left back foot well.
- Release spring clamps (9а) and remove a nozzle (9).
- Take connecting collars (10) and disconnect from the heat exchanger (12) of a tube of an okhladitelny path (11), collars (10) and sealing rings are subject to replacement without fail.
- Turn out bolts (13).
- Remove a collar (14) and take the heat exchanger (12).
- Carefully clean a heat exchanger casing from within, having completely removed from it traces of leakages of the cooling liquid, being a source of unpleasant smells.
- Installation is made upside-down.
- On models of the corresponding complete set деактивируйте service mode of TELE AID system.
- In summary make cleaning of memory of the processor of system of onboard self-diagnostics (see. Head of System of electric equipment of the engine).
