11.4.8. Removal and installation of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a steering wheel

- Turn a steering wheel in rectilinear situation.
- On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) activate a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).

- Turn on the auxiliary accumulator and connect it to the regular battery, then disconnect from the last a negative wire.
|
|
- Remove a steering wheel (see. Section Removal and installation of a steering wheel).
- Remove a contact cable drum (А45) (see. Section Removal and installation of a contact cable drum of a steering wheel).
- On release models till 30.06.02 wring out up clamps, at the same time, by weak pressing, separating a drum (А45) from the sensor of an angle of rotation (B24/8).
- On release models from 01.07.02 turn out a bolt (1) and remove the sensor (B24/8) from a drum (А45).
- Installation is made upside-down, - track correctness of a joint and reliability of fixing of components.
- At the corresponding complete set деактивируйте service mode of TELE AID system.
- Activate the sensor (B24/8), having started the engine and having several times turned a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop.
- In summary make cleaning of memory of the processor of system of onboard self-diagnostics (see. Head of System of electric equipment of the engine).
