10.15. Replacement of boots of the parking brake

Details of installation of boots of the parking brake

1 — the Bottom coupling spring
2 — Clamping springs
3 — Brake boots

4 — the Top coupling spring
5 — the Regulator

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a disk of the brake mechanism of a back wheel (see. Section Check, removal and installation of brake disks).
  2. Disconnect the bottom coupling spring (1).
  3. Remove clamping springs (2).
  4. Remove boots (3) assembled with the top coupling spring (4) and a regulator (5).
  5. Installation is made upside-down, - track correctness of connection of the bottom coupling spring (1).
  6. In summary check correctness of adjustment of a drive of the parking brake, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see. Section Adjustment of a drive of the parking brake).
