9.2.7. Removal and installation of a transfer case

Details of installation of a transfer case (on a series 750.653 example)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect electroconducting and remove the servomotor of a transfer case (see. Section Removal and installation of the servomotor of a transfer case).
  2. Disconnect from a transfer case (1) driveshafts (4, 16 and 18) (see. The section Detachment and connection of driveshafts on a transfer case), nuts (17, 19 and 25) are subject to replacement without fail.
  3. By means of a suitable face key remove the sensor switch of the indicator of blocking of differential (S76/7).
  4. Turn out jellied (9) and drain (13) jams and let out in the prepared capacity transmission oil.
  5. To Poddomkratta a transfer case (1) from below, having completely unloaded rubber pillows (7) support of its suspension bracket.
  6. Disconnect in front the basic lever (14), take rubber pillows (7) behind, slightly lower the right side of a transfer case, left develop forward and make removal. Check a condition of rubber pillows (7), in case of need make their replacement.
  7. Installation is made upside-down. Track, that all fixture was tightened with demanded effort, do not forget to replace sealing rings (8 and 12).
