6.3.8. Removal and installation of the preliminary fuel pump

Models 463.323 (М612)

Details of installation of the preliminary fuel pump (М612)

1 — the Vacuum line
2 — the Vacuum pump
3 — the Line of supply of fuel

4 — the Line of return of fuel
13 — the Preliminary fuel pump

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove panels of furnish of a cover of a head of cylinders.
  2. Remove the vacuum pump (2).
  3. Disconnect from the preliminary pump (13) lines of giving (3) and return (4) fuels.
  4. Turn out fixing bolts and remove pump assembly (13), - prepare for collecting spilled fuel.

Do not open pump assembly!

  1. Installation is made upside-down, - before installation it is necessary to fill the preliminary pump with fuel. Track observance of purity of interfaced surfaces of established components, do not forget to replace sealing laying.
  2. In summary start the engine and check the corresponding components of a power supply system on existence of signs of development of leaks.

Details of installation of the preliminary fuel pump (М628)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove an air purifier and the activator of a drive of a butterfly valve with the top air lines (see. Section Service of components of an inlet air path).
  2. Turn out fixing bolts (2) and remove assembly of the preliminary fuel pump (1), - prepare for collecting spilled fuel.
  3. Installation is made upside-down, - before installation it is necessary to fill the preliminary pump with fuel. Track observance of purity of interfaced surfaces of established components, do not forget to replace sealing laying.
  4. In summary start the engine and check the corresponding components of a power supply system on existence of signs of development of leaks.
