12.3.12. Removal and dashboard installation

- On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) activate a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).
- Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
- Remove the left bottom section of furnish of the dashboard (see. Section Removal and installation of the left bottom section of furnish of the dashboard).
- Remove an electrodriving adjustable steering column (see. Head Suspension bracket and steering).
- Remove the left cover of the dashboard.
- Take from the assembly block (F34) safety locks of the electronic switch of the lock of ignition (EIS/EZS) (31) and a combination of devices (42).
- Remove modules of management of AT (ETC) and, - on models of the corresponding complete set (an ET code, except 463.246/249), - systems of an emergency call of TELE AID (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).
- Remove (1) three air line of systems of heating/ventilation of air laid under the central console.
- Disunite sockets of connection of a console plait (3) with electroconducting of a driver's foot well, - try to remember adjusting positions of sockets, no less than routes of laying of plaits.
- In a driver's foot well remove sockets from a block of alignment of potentials (2).
- Disconnect conclusions of grounding and shielding of the tire of data of CAN from a grounding point in the basis of the left rack And.
- Remove a forward ashtray (see. Section Removal and installation of a forward ashtray).
- Remove the facing panel of console section of the dashboard (see. Section Removal and installation of the facing panel of console section of the dashboard).
- Remove built in in the central part of the dashboard a loudspeaker (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).
- Remove a radio receiver (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).
- On models of the corresponding complete set (ET4 code) remove assembly of the multipurpose display/module of management of COMAND system (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).
- Mark adjusting positions of electric sockets in samples in the central part of the dashboard.
- Remove the right cover of the dashboard.
- Remove assembly of a ware box (see. Section Removal and installation of a ware box).
- Remove the right bottom cover of the dashboard (see. Section Removal and installation of the bottom covers of the dashboard).
- Disconnect electroconducting (4) from a block of alignment of potentials/distributor of the tire of data of CAN under the To/in evaporator casing, - try to remember routes of laying of plaits.
- Disconnect conclusions of grounding and shielding (5) from a grounding point, - again try to remember routes of laying of plaits.
- Turn out the central bolts (6) fastenings of assembly of the dashboard to a partition of an impellent compartment.
- Turn out bolts (7) fastenings of the dashboard to the tunnel of the transmission line.
- Turn out bolts (8) fastenings of an arm of a shirt of a steering column in the top part of a partition of an impellent compartment, - bolts are located under an assembly bracket of the dashboard.
- Give nuts (9) fastenings of an arm of a shirt of a steering column on a partition of an impellent compartment in a driver's foot well, - in case of need block from rotation of a head of reciprocal bolts from the engine.
- Turn out screws (10) (three on the right and three at the left) fastenings of an assembly bracket (11) dashboards.
- Having submitted up with turn, remove the dashboard, in case of need use the help of the assistant.
- Installation is made upside-down, - at the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) деактивируйте a service mode of TELE AID system (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).
- In summary make reading of the DTC codes and cleaning of memory of system of onboard self-diagnostics by means of the STAR DIAGNOSIS scanner (6511 1801 00) (see. Head of System of electric equipment of the engine).
