8.6. Removal and AT installation with the hydrotransformer
AT installation details

- On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) activate a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).
- Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
- To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props.
- Disconnect from engine and transmission cases a jellied tube (2).
- Turn out a stopper (9) and merge transmission liquid, - at once estimate ATF condition, in case of need make its replacement (see. Head Current leaving and service).
- Release bandages, separate an electroconducting plait from a jellied tube and disunite the contact socket (X22/2), - prepare replaceable bandages.
- Turn out the sensor of target turns of transmission (В49), - in case of need prepare a replaceable sealing ring.
- Unscrew the left and right oil pipelines going to a maslookhladitel.
- Release a fixing collar and remove draft of switching (7).
- Uncover (12) and disconnect the hydrotransformer from a driving disk.
- Prop up transmission by a special jack.
- Remove a cross-section beam assembled with a back support of a suspension bracket of the power unit (6).
- To Otboltita the driveshaft (5) from a target flange of transmission and a transfer case also take from under the car, - in case of need previously отболтите and incline transmission (see below), - and tie up it to bottom elements.
- Remove the stabilizer of cross-section stability (see. Head Suspension bracket and steering).
- Release a fastening bandage to a frame of a plait of the electroconducting laid to the left of transmission.
- To Otboltita tire of grounding (4).
- Turn out bolts of fastening of AT to the engine and lower it at an angle, - if yet did not do it, remove the driveshaft.
- In case of need by means of special strippers take from transmission the hydrotransformer.
- Installation is made upside-down, - before installation it is necessary to grease a driving flange of the hydrotransformer slightly. Track correctness of installation of the driveshaft.
