13.3.1. Removal and installation of switches of a steering column

Removal and installation of switches of a steering column
Release models till 30.06.02
Details of installation of podrulevy switches on release models till 30.06.02

|
- On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) activate a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).
|
- Turn on the auxiliary accumulator and connect it to the regular battery, then disconnect from the last a negative wire.
|
|
- Remove a contact cable drum of a steering wheel (see. Head Suspension bracket and steering).
- Turn out screws (1) and remove from a cover (2) shirts of a steering column switches of Speedtronic systems (S40/4) and Linguatronic (S93/2).
- Unblock (arrows) and, having pulled towards a steering wheel, disconnect from a casing of the combined switch (S4) the socket (3).
- Remove the switch (S4) from a cover (2).
- Disunite the socket (S4x1).
- Installation is made upside-down, - on models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) деактивируйте a service mode of TELE AID system (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).
- In summary make reading of the DTC codes and cleaning of memory of system of onboard self-diagnostics by means of the STAR DIAGNOSIS scanner (6511 1801 00) (see. The head of System of electric equipment of the engine) also enter demanded base settings of the onboard equipment.
- Make sure of serviceability of functioning of podrulevy switches.

- On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) activate a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).

- Turn on the auxiliary accumulator and connect it to the regular battery, then disconnect from the last a negative wire.

- Remove the sensor of an angle of rotation of a steering wheel (B24/8) (see. Head Suspension bracket and steering).
- Remove switches темпостата / Speedtronic systems (S40/4) and adjustment of a steering column (S59) (see above).
- Turn out the coupling screw (2), - the screw remains in assembly of switches (3).
- Having pulled outside, liberate assembly of switches (3) of a shirt of a steering column.
- Turn out bolts (4) and remove the module (N80) from assembly (3).
- Separate from the module (N80) the combined switch (S4).
- Installation is made upside-down, - track reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of the socket (5/6).
