5.1.5. Removal and thermostat installation

Petrol models

Details of installation of assembly of the thermostat on petrol engines

1 — a thermostat Casing 2 — the Sealing ring 3 — Fixing bolts	4 — the Collar 5 — the Hose of an okhladitelny path 6 — the Radiator

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Empty cooling system (see. Head Current leaving and service). Remove the panel of furnish power air purifier unit/assembly. Disconnect a hose of an okhladitelny path (5). Turn out fixing bolts (3) and remove a thermostat (1) casing assembled with a working element. In order to avoid irreversible damages the working element should not be taken from a cover, - in case of need replacement of an element is made assembled with the last! Installation is made upside-down. Do not forget to replace a sealing ring (2), track, that the fixture was tightened with demanded effort. In summary check cooling system on existence of signs of development of leaks.

1 — the Hose of an okhladitelny path 2 — the Ventilating hose 3 — a thermostat Casing	4 — the Connecting union B11/4 — the Sensor of temperature of cooling liquid

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove protection of a case. Empty cooling system (see. Head Current leaving and service). Remove panels of furnish of a cover of a head of cylinders. Disconnect electroconducting from the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid (B11/4). Disconnect from a casing of the thermostat (3) lines okhladitelny (1) and ventilating (2) paths, - check a condition of fixing collars, in case of need prepare replacement. Remove a thermostat (3) casing, - pay attention to adjusting position of the connecting union (4), prepare new sealing laying. Installation is made upside-down. In summary check cooling system on existence of signs of development of leaks.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props. Empty cooling system (see. Head Current leaving and service). Remove an air purifier. Remove a casing of the fan of system of cooling (see. Section Removal and installation of assembly of the fan of system of cooling). Establish the screen of protection of the radiator/condenser of central air of air (the equipped suitable basic arm metal or plastic plate in the size of 400x680x1 mm). Remove the fuel filter (3) (see. The Current leaving and service), - at installation the filter it will be reasonable to replace head. Disconnect from the ventilating line (2) a hose of an okhladitelny path (1), - check a condition of a fixing collar, in case of need prepare replacement. Disconnect a hose of an okhladitelny path (11) from a cooler of air of pressurization (12), - check a condition of a fixing collar, in case of need prepare replacement. Remove the actuation mechanism of a drive of a butterfly valve assembled with the top air line (4). Disconnect from a thermostat (6) casing a hose of an okhladitelny path (5), - check a condition of a fixing collar, in case of need prepare replacement. Disconnect a hose of an okhladitelny path (7) from the union (7а) the operating valve of system of ventilation of a case, - check a condition of a fixing collar, in case of need prepare replacement. Having disconnected from unions (8а and 8b) and a hose (9), remove the line of an okhladitelny path (8). Remove a basic arm (10) coolers of air of pressurization, - for the purpose of ensuring access to a fixing bolt (10а) hook a screw-driver (shooter) and wring out aside a hose (9). Remove a thermostat (6) casing assembled with a working element. Installation is made upside-down. In summary check cooling system on existence of signs of development of leaks.
