5.1.12. Removal and installation of an additional heater of STH (at the corresponding complete set)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props.
Remove protection of a case.
Empty cooling system (see. Head Current leaving and service).
Disconnect inlet (2) and final (1) hoses of an okhladitelny path from assemblies of a heater of STH and the water pump.
Disconnect from assembly of a heater of STH (А6) the fuel line (3), - prepare for collecting spilled fuel.
Having released bandages (6), disunite couplings (4 and 5) electroconductings, - bandage tapes are subject to replacement without fail.
Disconnect from a heater of STH (А6) an exhaust pipe (7).
Turn out fixing bolts (8) and remove assembly of an additional heater of STH (А6).
Remove the circulating pump (see. The section Removal and installation of the circulating pump of an additional heater of STH (at the corresponding complete set)).
Installation is made upside-down.
In summary remove from a path of system of cooling air and check the corresponding components on existence of signs of development of leaks.
Start an additional heater and make sure of serviceability of its functioning, - if the heater is disconnected automatically before achievement in temperature of cooling liquid of normal working value and cannot be started repeatedly, therefore in system false blocking works, - drive away the car on HUNDRED Mercedes-Benzs for carrying out detailed diagnostics with use of the STAR DIAGNOSIS input reader (6511 1801 00).
