13.4.4. Removal and installation of sensors

Parktronic system sensors

PTS sensors (А43) are fixed in the panel of a rear bumper of the car

Scheme of the organization of fastening of the PTS sensor

Fixing of the sensor (А43) in an arm is carried out by means of a lock ring (shooter)


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a lamp of illumination of registration plate.
  2. Unclench a lock ring on the holder (2) and liberate the sensor from an arm (4).
  3. Remove a lock ring (shooter).
  4. Accurately separate electroconducting.
  5. Installation is made upside-down, in case of need paint sensors in color of a body.

Sensors with the scratched external surface are subject to replacement.

Sensor of protection against towage

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) activate a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).
  1. Turn on the auxiliary accumulator and connect it to the regular battery, then disconnect from the last a negative wire.

    7 — the Auxiliary accumulator
    8 — the Plug of a positive wire of the module
    9 — the Plug of a negative wire of the module
    W10 — battery Grounding

  1. Remove the central console (see. Head Body).
  2. Remove the module of management of AT (TCM/ETC) (see. Head Automatic transmission).
  3. On models 463.246/249 remove the module of management of system of an emergency call of TELE AID (see. Section Removal and installation of modules of management).
  4. Remove a basic arm of the module of management.
  5. Disconnect electroconducting from the sensor of protection reacting to an inclination from towage (В33).
  6. Turn out from the case and remove the sensor (В33).
  7. Installation is made upside-down, on models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) деактивируйте a service mode of TELE AID system (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).
  8. In summary make reading of the DTC codes and cleaning of memory of system of onboard self-diagnostics by means of the STAR DIAGNOSIS scanner (6511 1801 00) (see. The head of System of electric equipment of the engine) also execute procedures of base programming.

Sensor of day lighting

Details of installation of the sensor of day lighting (B32/1)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a salonny rear-view mirror (see. Head Body).
  2. Uncover (1).
  3. Disunite the socket (2), release clamps and remove the sensor of day lighting (B32/1), - the lens of the sensor is pasted on a windscreen and to replacement is not subject.
  4. Installation is made upside-down.

Rain sensor

Details of installation of the sensor of a rain (В38)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a salonny rear-view mirror (see. Head Body).
  2. Uncover (1).
  3. Release clamps (2) at the left and on the right and remove the sensor of a rain (В38), - the lens of the sensor is pasted on a windscreen and to replacement is not subject.
  4. Disunite the socket of electroconducting of the sensor.
  5. Installation is made upside-down.
