13.1.4. Chain breakers - the general information

Breakers of a chain are usually used for protection of such components of onboard electric equipment, as head headlights and electromotors of a drive of window regulators, activators of door locks, etc.

Some breakers after operation revert to the original state automatically. If causing breaker shutdown the overload had not incidental character, it is necessary to check a condition of the corresponding contour immediately. After malfunction elimination the chain breaker enters again into a normal mode of functioning. Sometimes return of the breaker to a working condition should be made manually after elimination of the reason of an overload.
