2.5.7. System of anti-blocking of brakes (ABS)

At the included blocking of any of ABS differentials automatically it is disconnected.

The system of anti-blocking of brakes (ABS) prevents premature blocking of wheels, continuously operating speed of their rotation during braking at the expense of modulations of pressure of hydraulic liquid in each of brake mechanisms. Activation of system occurs automatically at car dispersal till the speed over 8 km/h.

Rather notable pulsations of a pedal of a foot brake at sharp braking are connected with activation of ABS and should not cause concern, - continue to squeeze out a pedal.

At activation of the LOW mode of a transfer case of ABS it is transferred to a specific mode of functioning in which at car delay till the speed below 30 km/h periodic blocking of forward wheels for the purpose of reduction of a brake way is made.

Remember that transition of ABS to a specific mode of functioning for movement on off road terrain can lead to "dives" of slowly moving car, considerably reducing its controllability!
