9.3.17. Dismantling and semi-axis assembly

- Remove a semi-axis (see. Section Removal and installation of semi-axes).
- Screw in a stupichny flange of a semi-axis (1) pair of wheel bolts and clamp them in a vice.
- Unblock and unscrew pro-carved nuts (9).
- Remove a lock plate (8).
- By means of special opravka and a press dismantle from a semi-axis (1) konusny roller bearing (6), - try not to damage a rotor of the wheel ABS sensor.
- Remove laying (4), a cover (2) with an epiploon (3) and a brake board (5).
- Take from a cover (2) epiploon (3) and plant on its place new, having slightly greased its sealing sponges, - track, that the size of a zaglubleniye of an epiploon in a landing nest of a cover made no more than 0.3 mm.
- Plant a cover (2) on a semi-axis (1), then establish a brake board (5), having filled greasing space between a board and sponges of an epiploon (3).
- Plant on a semi-axis (1) the bearing (6), having drawn in it the NEW lock plate (8).

Lock plate (8) it is established by the flat party to a pro-carved nut and should rest only against an internal holder of the bearing! The antirotational lock of a lock ring should be combined with the pierced section of a semi-axis in order to avoid damage of the last. Track, that in the course of a zapressovyvaniye the external holder of the bearing was turned! |
- Establish a pro-carved nut (9).
- Block both grooves of a pro-carved nut (9) lock plate (8), - the nut should not be released at semi-axis rotation in any direction.
- Plant on the bearing (6) a sealing ring of rectangular section (7).
- Establish into place a semi-axis (see. Section Removal and installation of semi-axes).
