9.3.15. Dismantling and assembly of a power shaft

Design of a power shaft

1 — Collars
2 — the Boot
3 — the Spring washer

4 — the Hinge

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a power shaft (see. Section Removal and installation of power shafts of the forward bridge).
  2. Remove both fixing collars (1) and shift back a rubber boot (2).
  3. Unclench a spring washer (3) and by means of a hammer with soft brisk bring down from a shaft pin a sharnirny hub (4).
  4. By means of a suitable press dismantle the plug (5).
  5. Carefully wipe the removed components, defective knots replace.
  6. Installation is made upside-down, - the plug (5) before landing to a shaft should be warmed up to temperature of 160 ÷ 180 °C. Do not forget to fill sharnirny knot durable greasing (000 989 63 51).
