Petrol models of release for 30.11.00.

Measurement of a consumption of oil on petrol models of release till 30.11.00

087 — HHT
094 — the Multiplex cable

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Measurement is made by means of a manual tester (HHT). Check should be made only on the engine filled with fresh oil with the established new polnopotochny oil filter that allows to avoid an error connected with penetration into oil of fuel.

Need for change of impellent oil / the oil filter is absent, if the run size after the last regular replacement makes less than 1000 km.

  1. Attentively examine the power unit on existence of traces of external leakages of oil, in case of need eliminate the reason of development of leaks.
  2. If check is made by strengths of experts firm HUNDRED Mercedes-Benzs, the size of control run makes 250 km (the personnel should be acquainted previously with service conditions of the car and a manner of driving of the owner). Alternatively, measurement can be made by own strengths of the owner with control run in 1000 km.
  3. Strictly adhering to instructions of manufacturers, connect to the diagnostic DLC socket (X11/4) of the car a manual tester of HHT (087).
  4. For removal of indications come into the subsection "Actual values" of the section "Active service system since last oil change" of the menu of a tester.

The size specifying a consumption of oil 100 km of run in point 05 of the menu should not be used at calculations!

  1. From point 02 of the menu consider the value corresponding to amount of oil, filled in at the last change, for example, 6.3 l.
  2. From point 05 define real amount of oil at the moment of measurement, for example, 5.9 l.
  3. The amount of the oil added in the engine lately, can be defined from menu point 04, - this size is necessary for adding on at calculation.
  4. From point 01 of the menu consider the indication corresponding to size of run from the moment of the last change of oil, for example, of 1146 km.
  5. Calculation is made on a formula:
    Consumption of oil = (a difference of indications in liters x 1000)/size run = = (6.3 – 5.9) x1000/1146 = 400/1146 = 0.35 l/1000 of km
  1. On the basis of the received result make timely correction of level of oil, or execute necessary regenerative repair.

Petrol models of release from 01.12.00 and diesel models

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Measurement is made by means of the skanerny STAR-DIAGNOSIS input reader. Conditions of check are similar stated above for petrol models of release till 30.11.00.
  2. The order of connection of the input reader is described in the Head of System of electric equipment of the engine.

Previously it is necessary to clear memory of the module of onboard self-diagnostics of the DTC codes written down in it (if those are present at it) (see. Head of System of electric equipment of the engine).

  1. Reading of indications is best of all for making in the same point of the district where the last replacement of oil (a point of the beginning of control run) was made.
  2. Open subsection «KI (instrument cluster)» section "Body" of the menu of the main groups of the input reader.
  3. Further come into the Driven travel distance since last oil change point of the subsection "Active service system since last oil change" of the section "Active values" and define exact size of control run, for example, 1123 km.
  4. From the Quantity of oil added during oil change point consider amount of the oil filled in at the last change, for example, 6.3 l.
  5. The real amount of oil present at the engine can be schitano from the Last and second last detected oil quantity in engine with engine operation point. Let, for example, 5.6 l.
  6. Further, on a formula the Consumption of oil = (a difference of indications in liters x 1000)/size run = = (6.3 – 5.9) by x1000/1146 = 400/1146 = 0.35 l/1000 of km, determine a consumption of oil: 0.7x1000/1123= 0.62 km l/1000.
