Establishing a driving belt, correctly place it on pulleys (strictly on the center). Even short-term functioning of incorrectly established belt can lead to its damage!

  3. Adjustment of a tension of a driving belt is made automatically. It is necessary to check periodically a belt condition, and at detection of defects, to replace a belt.

  5. Switch off the engine, establish transmission in neutral situation. Lift and establish the car on supports.
  6. Mark chalk a belt on well foreground.
  7. Face key turn the engine for a bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft in the direction of normal rotation (clockwise) until again there will be no cretaceous marking, - attentively study a condition of a tape of a belt on all its length.
  8. The tension of a belt can be checked by a way of strong pressing on it a thumb and definitions of degree of its deflection. Size of a deflection measure by a ruler. At distance between centers pulleys from 180 to 280 mm the size of a deflection of a belt should equal 6 mm. If the distance between centers pulleys is in limits between 300 and 400 mm, the deflection should be 13 mm.
  9. In the presence of one or several of the specified damages it is necessary to replace a belt (see. Head Engine).
  10. Make sure of correctness of landing of a belt on pulleys.
