13.6.1. Removal and installation of modules of face-to-face safety cushions

Removal and installation of modules of face-to-face safety cushions

Driver's safety cushion

Details of installation of the module of a driver's safety cushion on release models till 30.06.02

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Shift a steering wheel against the stop back.
  2. On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) activate a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).
  1. Turn on the auxiliary accumulator and connect it to the regular battery, then disconnect from the last a negative wire.

    7 — the Auxiliary accumulator

    9 — the Plug of a negative wire of the module
    W10 — battery Grounding
  1. Turn out fixing bolts (2).
  2. On release models till 30.06.02 raise the module of a driver's safety cushion (1) and disunite the socket (5) of electroconducting of a multipurpose steering wheel (5). Also disconnect electroconducting from igniter (R12/13) of a safety cushion.
  3. On release models from 01.07.02 raise the module (1), release clamps (3) and disunite sockets (5) both igniters (R12/13 and R12/14), and also the socket (4) of a multipurpose steering wheel.
  4. Remove the module of a driver's safety cushion (1).
  5. Installation is made upside-down, - track reliability of fixing of contact sockets.

On release models from 01.07.02 joining of sockets (5) should be accompanied by distinct click.

  1. On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) деактивируйте a service mode of TELE AID system (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).
  2. In summary make reading of the DTC codes and cleaning of memory of system of onboard self-diagnostics by means of the STAR DIAGNOSIS scanner (6511 1801 00) (see. The head of System of electric equipment of the engine) also execute procedures of base programming.

Passenger safety cushion

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models of the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) activate a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).

  3. Give nuts of screws of fastening of assembly brackets (1) (on two screws on each bracket).
  4. Turn out screws (3) fastenings of the handle established on the dashboard.
  5. Turn out screws (4) fastenings of the module of a passenger safety cushion (2) to a bearing arm of the dashboard.
  6. Remove the module (2) assembled with a basic arm.
  7. In case of need separate the module (2) from an arm.
  8. Installation is made upside-down, - at the corresponding complete set (ET2 code) деактивируйте a service mode of TELE AID system (see. Section Activation/deactivation of a service mode of system of an emergency call of TELE AID).
